EUDAP
EUDAP, or the European Drug Addiction Prevention Trial, has been underway in a number of European countries since 2003. It consists of an alcohol and drug education package delivered to 12 to 14 year olds and include a social norms component. It is one of the few studies to simultaneously trial an intervention in several different countries and the results of the study indicate that the the method is effective in reducing alcohol and drug related harm. The authors of EUDAP have made all the study materials freely available for use on their website. Please see lesson four of the programme guide for information on the social norms component.
